OUR VISION IS 20/20

Starting in 2010, we committed to a five-year plan to cut both our energy use and energy costs by 20%. At this moment, we’re at 11.7% and counting.

MOVING FASTER IN NEW YORK

HOW WILL OUR NEW YORK OPERATIONS REDUCE BY 25% IN 2015?

Our Metro New York branches have installed energy-efficient lighting and motion sensors on thermostats – so that heating and cooling isn’t wasted when no one’s there.

In 45 rental facilities across the five boroughs of New York City, we’ve reduced local energy use by 10% since 2010.

In New York, and throughout the company, our management training program has enabled managers to carry out our sustainability fundamentals at the local level.
